Ms. Jacqueline Cahill
Executive Director
Jacqueline gradated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Social Work and has for most of her career worked in the non-profit sector of Montreal. Her varied career spans several community services sectors: from psychiatric rehabilitation, women’s and refuge issues to working with the unemployed. Before taking on the position as E.D. at TCCF, Jacqueline spent 5 years as Program Director/Coach with “La Passerelle” an outplacement organization for unemployed professionals. Prior to this she worked as program coordinator at the “Women’s Y” focusing on building young women’s leadership skills. Jacqueline spent several years running the Community Outreach department at a Montreal Women’s shelter and started her career in the “helping” profession working in psychiatric rehabilitation both in Canada and England. During the 1980’s Jacqueline owned and operated a successful Placement Agency where she learned to “multi-task”. She has served and represented organizations, boards and committees and is passionate when working for a “cause”. Jacqueline was born in South London, England, she emigrated to Canada at age 21 and has 2 children, one at elementary school, the other finishing high school. In her spare time she is an avid genealogist – having traced her family back many generations. |
