Dr. Luc Valiquette, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Luc Valiquette is a Full Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Université de Montréal and Chief of Urology Department at the CHUM. His main interests cover several aspects of Urology, with particular emphasis in voiding dysfunction and urinary incontinence. Dr. Valiquette obtained his medical degree and pursued his specialized training in urology at the Université de Montréal. He is a Certified Urologist of the Collège des Médecins du Québec and of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. After his residency training, he did a post-graduate training (Fellowship) in Urodynamics in Nantes (France) and in Uro-prosthetic Surgery in Houston (USA). During the past 20 years, Dr. Valiquette has produced numerous scientific papers on the evaluation and the treatment of urinary incontinence. He is a member of the Governing Board of The Canadian Continence Foundation.
