Mr. Michael Gareau

Michael has 30 years of business experience a Financial Manager in various industries. having started a steel service center with three partners in 1987, Michael was responsible for all financial and accounting matters that had to do with the company. After fourteen years as Vice President Finance and Administration of this company, it was sold as part of a company wide restructuring, and Michael went on to work as Finance Manager for three other companies before purchasing a Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop in downtown Montreal. Michael has been active in non profit organizations for many years. As a father of two boys, Michael was a member of the parent school committee at Riverside High School in McMasterville Quebec. He was also responsible for the Boy Scouts Beaver Patrol in the city of Chambly. Michael was also on the board of directors of “La Passerelle” an outplacement organization for unemployed professionals. Michael attended Concordia University in Management.
