Dr. Sheilah Lamb
MD, CCFP, FCFP

Dr. Sheilah Lamb grew up in Kitchener, Ontario. Received her undergraduate B.A. from the University of Guelph. She went on to the University of Western Ontario in the Master's Program in Speech Pathology before entering Medicine at McMaster University. She did a 2 year residency in Family Medicine at McMaster and was a full time faculty member from 1982 until 1989.

She was an Assistant CME director for many years at McMaster.

She was involved in Facilitator training for the Practice Based Small Group Program. (PBSG)

She is currently practicing full time as a Family Physician in Hamilton, as part of the Family Health Team.

Her interests include prevention, education and remaining on the cutting edge of positive changes in medical practice to enhance patient outcomes, while trying to maintain a paperless office. She is enjoying being part of a larger team that includes a Nurse Practitioner, a Pharmacist, a Dietitian, Mental Health and Substance use counselors, and access to the Community Psychiatry program.
